Hi, Readers! It's time for a Reading Challenge Update. My last one was in April, and you can find it here. I don't really have a schedule of when I post these. I try to do it quarterly, but it usually just ends up being when I feel like it and have a decent number of books to update.
Since the last update, I've read around thirteen books. I don't have any tiers completed yet, as I am just jumping around to whatever book I feel like reading. However, I feel pretty happy with where I'm at progress-wise as I am so far ahead of schedule. I'm currently reading Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan, so I fully expect to be behind before I finish it.
Shadow Rising is part of the Wheel of Time series that Tress (Challenge Co-conspirator) absolutely loves, so I try to read a book or two from it a year. Mainly because they are my birthday/Christmas gifts from her. Typically I message my thoughts on the book to her, and she posts them on her Twitter. However, this year we're doing something different, and I'm posting them to my Twitter directly. If you'd like to check out the thread of me reading WOT, you can do so here. Fair warning, it will probably have spoilers. It will also be filled with pop culture references and songs that get stuck in my head. I try to translate my random thoughts into coherent ones with the blog, but the Twitter feed is all of my nonsensical random glory. I also only do this feed with WOT books.
I've got three more spaces on tier one. They should all be easy enough to fill. I've got a couple of physical books that someone loaned me. So one of those will likely go to #6. I'm not sure about the other two, but I don't think I'll have any issue finding something. For level 2, I think I had a book in two places on my spreadsheet. Haunting Charlie was on Self Published and Murder Mystery. I took it off Murder Mystery, so now that's opened back up. I'll probably put Shadows Rising as Chosen One Trope. Other than that, I'm not really sure what I'm doing for the different levels. I have ideas for some, but it will just depend on how far I get.
